The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the courthouse and the cost is $169 a night. Please let the hotel know you will be booking through the NYU Mock Trial Tournament. All hotel bookings must be completed by December 21.

Registration and Payment:

More information about registration fees and payment will be available in the following months. We anticipate the fees will remain roughly the same as past years (~$1,000). We will provide an update on the exact amount and how to go about submitting your payments in the fall!

With large judging panels, a spacious courthouse, lunch provided, and the beautiful scenery of Downtown Manhattan - this is not a tournament you want to miss. This page serves as your home for all the information you need to know about this year's Downtown!

Want to judge at the Downtown? 

We are always looking for attorneys, law students and mock trial alumni to join us! Stay tuned for all the information needed to register for specific times during the tournament! 

  • Judges will participate as both scoring jurors or presiding judges and provide written feedback and scores for the students. 
  • Each trial lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a mandatory 30 minute judges orientation.
  • Complementary food will be provided!
